The 2026 World Cup, which has been amazing so far, added another unforgettable chapter on Sunday afternoon with Norway’s upset win over Brazil in the Round of 16.

And Tennessee Vols fans who watched the match were instantly transported to one of the most memorable moments in UT football history (we’ll get to that in a minute).

Norway took the lead late in the second half thanks to a goal from Erling Haaland.

Side note: “The Northern Lights are shining” is one of the best calls I’ve ever heard.

Haaland iced the game with another goal just 11 minutes later.

Haaland now has seven goals in the World Cup, which is incredible considering he had the fewest touches of any starter for Brazil or Norway on Sunday.

That’s incredible efficiency, and it immediately reminded Vols fans of Jalin Hyatt’s incredible game against Alabama in 2022 when he caught six passes for five touchdowns and 207 yards.

In case you want to relive those five touchdowns again (and who wouldn’t…aside from Alabama fans), here’s the video.
