One of the big offseason topics for the Denver Broncos is the team’s longterm situation at cornerback.

Superstar cornerback Patrick Surtain is locked down after signing an extension ahead of the 2024 season.

Denver fans are now wondering if the Broncos will choose to keep cornerback Riley Moss or nickelback Ja’Quan McMillian as both are entering contract years. The feeling is that Denver won’t pay both players.

And that’s led to some fans wondering if there’s a rift between the two players as they seemingly “compete” for a contract extension with the Broncos.

A recent photo on Moss’ Instagram story, however, shows that’s not the case at all.

Moss and McMillan are actually working out together in Florida ahead of training camp.

Those two are clearly focused on the mission in 2026 — which is to get to the Super Bowl after coming up just short a year ago.

As for which player will likely earn the extension?

The signs seem to point to McMillan, who has already begun extension talks with the Broncos.

Head coach Sean Payton has also made it clear he wants McMillan in Denver longterm.
