The Los Angeles Rams have another reason to worry about wide receiver Puka Nacua. Rams head coach Sean McVay confirmed that Nacua left practice early on Tuesday with an injury, though the team is currently unsure what the injury is.
According to Nate Atkins, The Athletic’s senior writer covering the Rams, Nacua left practice early with trainer Reggie Scott and was unable to finish the session.
Injury uncertainty is reason for concern

Nacua’s desire is to become the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL, and according to Spotrac, his market value projects at a four-year, $160.8 million extension. That figure could climb even higher depending on how the receiver market moves.
So far, Los Angeles hasn’t been willing to give Nacua that extension, potentially creating a scenario where the receiver plays out his rookie contract. A franchise tag could become necessary a year from now if the two sides remain far apart.
