2027 five-star running back David Gabriel Georges, a Tennessee Vols commit, put on a show on Thursday night in Baylor School’s season-opening win over Brentwood Academy.

Gabriel Georges totaled 172 rushing yards, 78 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in the 38-20 win.

As impressive as Gabriel Georges was on the field, fans were equally impressed by what he did as soon as he left the field after each series.

Instead of celebrating a big play, or taking it easy after breaking a bunch of tackles, Gabriel Georges immediately started intently watching film of the previous series.

Several teammates were often right there with Gabriel Georges watching film, but it was clear that getting to that monitor and reviewing what just happened was a priority after each series for the five-star running back.

It’s not a big surprise to see this from Gabriel Georges based on what we learned from On3’s Chris Low’s profile of the Tennessee commit earlier this summer.

Baylor School head coach Erik Kimrey told Low that Gabriel Georges would often study his opponents and have a different plan of attack for each defender.

“He had a plan of attack for all their guys in the secondary,” said Kimrey. “I’d never talked to a running back before that studied it and thought it out like that.”

Tennessee has something special in Gabriel Georges. He’s going to be fun to watch on Rocky Top starting in 2027.
