Sean Payton got sassy while coming to the defense of QB Bo Nix and Broncos fans are loving it
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton had to get a little sassy this week when a media figure tried to badmouth quarterback Bo Nix.

Earlier this week, former NFL offensive lineman turned NFL analyst Geoff Schwartz suggested that while Nix is consistent and takes care of the football, he doesn’t push the ball down the field.
The numbers, of course, say otherwise.
Payton responded to the comments on Thursday by firing off a sassy tweet.
“Always easy to tell who works at it and who doesn’t,” wrote Payton.
I don’t keep up with Schwartz’s work, so I don’t know if this is a rare bad take or common for him — I don’t want to assume either way — but there are certainly plenty of analysts out there (both ex-players and those who didn’t play) who recklessly fire off takes without doing much research.
Either way, Payton was quick to come to his quarterback’s defense on Thursday, and Broncos fans, of course, were loving it.
Be careful if you’re out there firing off Broncos hot takes — Payton is lurking and he absolutely will call you out.
