The Cincinnati Bengals have finished the 2026 preseason undefeated. Cincinnati capped off a productive month with a 30-13 victory on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Much like the first two exhibitions, there was more to like than not for the Bengals. That’s good news for several players hoping to stick around for the regular season, and potentially taking on notable roles.

Here are the players who helped, or hurt, their chances of making the team and having an impact on the upcoming regular season.

WR Dohnte Meyers

It would not have shocked me if Dohnte Meyers didn’t dress for this game. He did, and proved why he’s a roster lock. He snagged three receptions for 51 yards on the opening drive and that was all he needed to do for the night. His name will stay on his locker.

CB Tacario Davis

Third-round pick Tacario Davis was never in danger of being cut, but a strong final preseason game should help him see the field earlier in the season when needed. He forced an incompletion on opening drive, and showed great awareness to intercept a dropped pass later on. CB4? Quite possibly!

Charlie Jones

The punt returner job was still up for grabs this week, and Charlie Jones got the most opportunities in Philly. He amassed 39 return yards on three attempts. He also hauled in two receptions for 36 yards as a receiver, but if he makes the team again, it will be to return kicks more than anything.

Javon Foster

I have to lean Javon Foster over Jalen Rivers as the winner of the backup swing tackle gig. Foster posted a clean sheet in pass protection Friday night while playing exclusively at left tackle. He was given all week to prepare for the opportunity, and he capitalized. Maybe Cincy goes after an external option later, but for now, he’s my pick for the job.

Kentrel Bullock, Jamal Haynes

What a night for the undrafted rookie running backs. Kentrel Bullock led the way with 85 yards on 14 rushes and a touchdown. Jamal Haynes was just as impressive with 78 yards and a score on seven attempts. These are two names to remember when the practice squad is being built out.

Losers from Bengals’ win against Eagles in preseason finale

Tahj Brooks

The combination of Bullock and Haynes showing out and fumbling his kickoff return is not good for Tahj Brooks. He’s been relatively unimpressive this preseason, and ends the month on a low note.

Jalen Rivers

It’s entirely possible Jalen Rivers misses the cut, but he may be the last offensive lineman on the outside looking in with Foster looking good as the main backup tackle. It may be a stressful weekend for the former fifth-round pick.

PJ Jules

It’s not good when a would-be special teams leader gets penalized on a special teams play, nor when a backup safety misses tackles, but both happened for Jules against the Eagles. He may still make the team, but it was not a good night.
