Lane Kiffin dropped a savage comment after LSU’s win over Louisiana Tech that no one noticed, and Ole Miss fans will have no answer for it
LSU Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin dropped a sneaky quote on Saturday night that Ole Miss fans have no answer for.
LSU head coach Lane Kiffin casually dropped a quote after the Tigers’ 45-14 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday night that will undoubtedly have Ole Miss fans rolling their eyes — even though it’s completely true.
Kiffin didn’t say much after the win over Louisiana Tech about LSU’s game against Ole Miss in Oxford next weekend.
That game is obviously one of the most anticipated of the year as all eyes will be on Kiffin’s return to Oxford.
After the win over Louisiana Tech, however, Kiffin slipped in that Ole Miss has played “really well” at home for years.
“Like I told [the team] in there, you’re getting ready to go on the road in the SEC vs a really good team that has played really well for years at that place,” said Kiffin.
What a comment.
Ole Miss, of course, has played really well at home (27-3 from 2021 to 2025) the last few years because Kiffin was the head coach during that time!
Kiffin was quietly pointing out what he accomplished at Ole Miss while looking ahead to the game. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought this was hilarious from Kiffin. And while I’m sure Ole Miss fans are rolling their eyes, they have no rebuttal because it’s absolutely true.
It’s going to be a wild atmosphere in Oxford next Saturday night, but I think LSU will be completely locked in on the task at hand — especially after a rough first half against Louisiana Tech in Week 2.
