Browns just got a shot in the arm ahead of facing the Titans on the road in Week 7
The Cleveland Browns’ injury news heading into game against the Tennessee Titans is good news.
The Cleveland Browns will try to move to 5-2 this weekend against the Tennessee Titans. It’s a great chance for the Browns to pick up another win in the first half of the season, and the latest injury report gives Cleveland plenty of reason for optimism heading into Week 7.
Cleveland is getting healthier at the right time with several key contributors trending toward playing on Sunday. The most notable name on the report carries no designation at all.
Mason Graham returns for the Browns
Defensive tackle Mason Graham has no injury designation for the Titans game after missing the last couple of games with a knee injury. That’s a big boost for the Browns’ defensive front.
Graham already has four sacks this season and looks like he’s set for a breakout year in Cleveland. Getting him back on the field against Tennessee is going to be key for a defense that has still found a way to get after the QB in his a absence.
Along with Graham, the Browns will also get running back Quinshon Judkins back for the Week 7 game after he missed the last contest. Four Browns players listed as questionable
Cleveland has four players listed as questionable to play against Tennessee There’s a solid chance all four are able to suit up.
Safety Grant Delpit is working his way through concussion protocol and was limited in practice at times this week. Still, there’s a solid chance he’ll be able to go despite his questionable designation.
Running back Dylan Sampson is also questionable. If he plays, it will be his first appearance since a Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars injury that landed him on injured reserve. Sampson and Judkins could give the Browns their one-two punch in the backfield together for the first time since the season opener.
Cornerback Denzel Ward is questionable with a hand injury that limited him in practice on Friday. Linebacker Quincy Williams is questionable as well. Both Ward and Williams are expected to play for Cleveland on Sunday at this time.
Browns rule out 4 players against Tennessee
The Browns did rule out four players for the trip to Nashville. Defensive tackle Kalia Davis, quarterback Dillon Gabriel, defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr., and offensive lineman Teven Jenkins will all miss the game.
However, none of the players ruled out are real contributors on the active roster who have made an impact this season. Overall, the Browns are about as healthy as they could ask to be this late in October.
With Graham back up front and the running back room close to full strength, Cleveland has most of its pieces in place. Now it’s up to the Browns to go out and get it done on the road against the Titans. A win in Nashville would put Cleveland at 5-2, and Sunday will be telling for how this team handles a game it should win.
