Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady is on the hunt for his rookie card, and he’s giving away $10,000 in prizes as he chases it
Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady is doing something really cool with Fanatics and CardVault Breaks as he hunts for his 2000 Bowman Chrome rookie card. And $10,000 in sports memorabilia will also be given away.
Las Vegas Raiders minority owner Tom Brady has been all over the place since retiring from the NFL. It started with trading cards, and as we all know, he is also into sports ownership. His new team-up between CardVault Breaks and Fanatics Live adds to the list of ventures he’s been involved in since 2022.
In their newest collaboration, Brady, CardVault Breaks, and Fanatics Live are presenting “The Great QB Chase,” an event where the legendary quarterback searches for his own rookie card by opening a 2000 Bowman Chrome box. This collectible box, which includes 24 packs, is currently valued at over $10,000.

Fans can watch the livestream on Monday, November 2, beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET, where they can bid on individual 2000 Bowman Chrome packs, with starting bids at $1. Each spot in the break will be auctioned one by one in real time, giving you a team or player. When all spots are taken, the break begins. The breaker will rip packs live on stream. Cards are revealed one by one, with suspense around rare hits or chase cards. Any cards tied to your spot are yours. After the final pack is opened, cards will be sorted, packaged, and shipped to buyers.
Additional box openings from 2001, 2004, 2005, and 2024 will give collectors an opportunity to find rookie cards of stars like Drew Brees, Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Jordan Love, Justin Herbert, Fernando Mendoza, Jaxson Dart, and others.
Entry bids for this break start at $225.
Participants can also win $10,000 in memorabilia prizes. To enter giveaways using the built-in chat feature, you will need a Fanatics One account.
The reveal centers on Brady’s CardVault Breaks.
“CardVault by Tom Brady is the premier destination for sports cards, TCG, collectibles, and memorabilia. Founded in partnership with seven-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady, CardVault combines the excitement of collecting with an elevated retail experience for hobbyists and fans alike.”
Long story short, this is going to be fun, extremely fun. And it’s only going to get better as the stream goes on.
Las Vegas Raiders fans are going to get the opportunity to ask Tom Brady questions
A ton of Raiders fans have turned a blind eye over the years to what Tom Brady famously did to their team in the early 2000s. There’s no need to mention it. But we all know it was a fumble. Maybe you want to ask Brady that for yourself? Now, whether he says it was a fumble or not, it’s different.

Or maybe Raiders fans want more info about Fernando Mendoza? Maybe fans want an insight into his exact role with the team? Perhaps your question has nothing to do with the Raiders or football at all. He may not have played for the Raiders, but his impact on the Silver and Black over the last year or so is undeniable.

There’s a reason that Brady wanted to become part owner of the Raiders. And since he did, things have been on the come-up. The Raiders won just three games last season. They’re already at three wins this season. Granted, they are on a four-game skid.
You can watch this team, with a bit of Brady’s fingerprints on it, and see they’re headed in the right direction. If anyone knows how to win, it’s Brady. He knows what it takes. And the Raiders are trusting him to help them get back to those ways.
