It’s going to be a wild November for the SEC — especially if the Tennessee Vols take down the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday in Neyland Stadium.

There’s a crazy SEC scenario that could unfold this weekend if Tennessee beats Kentucky in Neyland Stadium.

On3’s Chris Low pointed out during an appearance on 104.5 The Zone’s 3HL on Monday that if the Vols beat the Wildcats and Ole Miss beats Georgia, then there will be a six-way tie for first place in the SEC.

“You realize that if Tennessee were to beat Kentucky and Ole Miss were to beat Georgia this weekend, we’re going to have a six-way tie for first in the SEC with six two-loss teams,” said Low.

If that outcome happens, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Georgia would all be 5-2 in the SEC. If Alabama beats LSU, they’ll also be 5-2. Tennessee and either Texas or Missouri would be 4-2 in the SEC (Texas plays at Missouri).

(If LSU beats Alabama then they’d swap places as a two loss team, though the Tigers would fall in the 4-2 group.)

It’s going to be an insane November, and this Saturday will play a huge role in determining how things play out.
