The Kansas City Chiefs have released their second injury report ahead of Week 9’s game against the New York Jets.

With Chiefs rookie DT Peter Woods missing a second consecutive practice with his neck stinger, he’s a long shot to play in Week 9. That likely means that Marcus Harris will see his final practice squad elevation for the 2026 NFL season. Omarr Norman-Lott continues to be limited. I expect the team to use the full 21-day window before deciding on him. The good news on Thursday’s injury report? Other players were upgraded to full participants. However, one big question remains for Sunday’s game.

Here’s a quick breakdown of each team’s Week 9 injury report. Keep in mind that clubs can add to the injury report through kickoff on Sunday. They will release game status designations on Friday, Nov. 6.

Observations

  • Mansoor Delane’s status is that big question. He remains limited, which puts him on track for a game-time decision. Andy Reid said on Monday that the rookie would have a chance to play this week. A full practice on Friday would be big. Has the rookie done enough to play with three limited practice sessions? That’s usually something reserved for veterans.
  • As expected, Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce were undergoing planned maintenance.
  • Nikko Remigio’s full-participation practice is a good sign he’ll be available for Week 9’s game. The Chiefs signed WR Jacob De Jesus to the practice squad as a precaution.

Observations

  • The Jets had several players upgraded from limited to full status on Thursday. They’re still without WR Garrett Wilson and DT Jordan Phillips, who were both described by Aaron Glenn as “day-to-day.”
  • LB Trevin Wallace was downgraded to a non-participant on Thursday. That doesn’t bode well for his Week 9 availability.
