Before kickoff, both teams have released their inactive players list for the game.
Here are the Bengals players who will not be dressing for today’s game against the Falcons.
Bengals Week 9 inactives at Falcons
- S Kyle Dugger
- OT Myles Hinton
- C Connor Lew
- DT Landon Robinson
Hinton, Lew, and Robinson are usual suspects on the inactives list. Dugger was declared out Friday. He has not practiced at all the last two weeks after aggravating his quad injury that took him out of the previous two games. Russ Yeast remains active in his place as a backup safety.
Defensive end Cedric Johnson was questionable with an ankle/foot injury, but he will play. This was foreshadowed by the club not elevating another DE off the practice squad this weekend.
Cincinnati only has 52 players on its active roster this week, which is why only four players had to be inactive.
James Pearce Jr. to play
Atlanta DE James Pearce Jr., who was suspended the first eight games, is officially active despite a back injury flaring up for him Friday. DE Billy Bowman Jr. is inactive, though he was a full participant in all three practices this week.
The Falcons also placed running back Brian Robinson Jr. on the Reserve/Injured list this weekend. Former Bengals running back Khalil Herbert was signed off Atlanta’s practice squad, so he’s locked in as Bijan Robinson’s backup.
