The Oklahoma Sooners' terrible 2024 season is almost over. You know, this could have been over quicker if the Sooners didn't mess around and used some of that magic against the Alabama Crimson Tide when they beat them pretty badly, their season would already be over. But, we have one more game left.

The Sooners extended their bowl game streak to 26 straight seasons, and this one could be fun, despite this year being, well, the exact opposite of fun. They are set to play the Navy Midshipmen, just a few hours down the road in Fort Worth, Texas in the Armed Forces Bowl.

This is a team they have only played once ever, and that was in the 60s when the Sooners lost 10-0. So, there's not much history there. But, Navy had a good season and finished 8-3, well, kind of, as they still have one game left against Army.

Now, a date and time has been released.

The Sooners and the Midshipmen will face off on December 27, which is a Friday, at 11 AM central time, at Amon G. Carter Stadium on ESPN.

This game should be fun regardless of the outcome, as we should get to see some young Sooners get on the field and play some meaningful snaps. With quarterback Jackson Arnold entering the transfer portal, it feels like Michael Hawkins may be the starter for this game in a few weeks.
