Las Vegas Raiders sign WR Jakobi Meyers to three-year deal
Not many people expected the Raiders to make this move.
The Las Vegas Raiders have taken a different turn on day two of free agency that I don't think many people thought they would do.
Per Ian Rapoport, the Las Vegas Raiders are signing former New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers to a three-year deal worth $33 million with $21 million guaranteed.
Meyers has had 2758 receiving yards in his career so far in just four years, but, the majority of that has come from the last two seasons. In 2021 and 2022 Meyers finished with over 800 receiving yards each. Meyers also finished with six touchdowns last season.
Meyers is the latest signing that stems from the McDaniels and Patriots connection. He will come into the Raiders system already familiar with everything.
