One of the biggest controversies in Tennessee sports this week has been the pronunciation of Vols guard Santiago Vescovi’s last name.
ESPN announcer Fran Fraschilla called Tennessee fans “idiots” for their pronunciation of Vescovi’s name during the Vols’ win over North Carolina on Sunday.

On Wednesday, Vescovi addressed the “controversy” and he revealed that he doesn’t care how his name is pronounced.

This looks like another win for Vol Twitter. Fraschilla is the one looking foolish after calling out an entire fan base over an issue that was non-existent.
