Get your tissues ready — Tennessee dropped an incredible tribute to Vols quarterback Hendon Hooker on Wednesday night and it’s sure to have you tearing up.

Just go ahead and check it out because there are no words to do it justice.

Hooker tore his ACL in Tennessee’s 63-38 loss to the South Carolina Gamecocks this past weekend. The injury ends Hooker’s career as a Vol.

But despite the injury and the fact that Hooker will be playing for an NFL team next season, the Greensboro, NC native is still showing up to practice this week. He’s engaged and supporting his teammates according to ESPN’s Chris Low.

Hooker is a special person on and off the field. He’s a massive reason why Tennessee flipped the script this year and was in the College Football Playoff conversation for a couple of weeks.

Seeing his Tennessee career end this past Saturday night in Columbia was brutal. But as South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer said this week, Hooker’s best football is still in front of him.

And I have no doubt that Vols fans will be cheering him on when he’s in the NFL next season.
