Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt lands with a polarizing NFL team in the first post-Super Bowl mock draft from Pro Football Focus.
PFF's Michael Renner debuted a new mock draft on Monday — just a day after the Kansas City Chiefs' 38-35 win against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII — and he has Hyatt being selected with the No. 26 pick by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Hyatt brings the kind of juice that the Cowboys were missing in 2022 at receiver. His ability to take the top off defenses is second to none in the draft class. His 677 yards on deep receptions led all of college football this past season.

The Cowboys are a team that you either love or you hate. There usually is no in-between when it comes to Dallas.
So while I'm sure some Vols fans are hoping to see Hyatt land elsewhere, I think they need to look at the silver lining here.
The more attention that former Tennessee players receive in the NFL, the better it is for the Vols in recruiting. If Hyatt goes to the Cowboys and excels, he's going to be on Sportscenter and NFL Network constantly. And that will be tremendous for the Volunteers in recruiting.
There are some things that money can't buy. And selling the dream of playing in the NFL by using a former Vol as an example is one of those things.
