The Tennessee Vols lost a second player to the NCAA transfer portal on Wednesday.
Redshirt sophomore Jimmy Calloway tweeted that he’s entering the portal after three seasons at Tennessee.
Junior wide receiver Jimmy Holiday also announced on Wednesday that he’s entering the portal.
I want to thank everyone involved for the opportunity to play the sport I love at the University of Tennessee. After much consideration I have decided to enter the transfer portal with 3yrs of eligibility. pic.twitter.com/ZnS0H7zYmw

Calloway is a former four-star recruit who signed with the Vols during the 2020 recruiting cycle.
The Georgia native never made much of an impact during his time at UT. He finished his career with nine receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown.
Calloway’s best game came against Pittsburgh last season when he caught three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown.
Unfortunately for Calloway, he was mostly phased out of the offense after a critical drop against Florida in 2021.

Calloway was also ejected from a game against Akron earlier this season for throwing a punch.
There’s no doubt that Calloway has talent, he was just never able to put it all together at Tennessee.
