Wake Forest Demon Deacons transfer guard Juke Harris, the Tennessee Vols’ top remaining portal target, has a big decision to make over the next few weeks.

Harris has to decide if he’s going to return to college for his junior season or if he’s going to stay in the 2026 NBA Draft.

If Harris returns to college, the feeling is that he would end up at Tennessee.

On3’s Chris Low said earlier this week, in fact, that his intel points to Harris landing with the Vols.

Harris, however, is giving the NBA more of a look than some folks may realize.

“He and his agents want to give the NBA a hard look and see where they stand,” said VolQuest’s Austin Price Wednesday on WNML’s Josh and Swain. “And see what feedback they get. If it stays late first or early second round, I just have a tough time seeing him go that route. Now, if they said, ‘Hey, man, you’ve done a tremendous job in the workout process, and you’re going to jump up to a lottery pick’, I think he’d be gone.

“But I think if he stays kind of where everybody’s projecting him, I think there’s a real chance that he comes back to college. I think Tennessee makes the most sense. I think financially and location wise, they kind of hit what he’s looking for in the sweet spot. And I think Tennessee felt like they were in a good place there for a while, and I think Rick Barnes and the entire staff have continued to work him really hard.”

Tennessee has an existing relationship with Harris from his time as a high school recruit.

Where do recent NBA mock drafts have Juke Harris getting selected?

The latest NBA mock draft from ESPN has Harris going to the Brooklyn Nets with the No. 33 overall pick.

The Athletic, meanwhile, has Harris going to the Sacramento Kings with the No. 34 overall pick.

I don’t know what feedback Harris would need to hear to stay in the NBA Draft, but it’s hard to see him passing up a large NIL check at Tennessee if he’s going to be a second round pick.

Vols fans are just going to have to wait to see how this process plays out over the next few weeks while hoping that Harris decides to withdraw his name from the draft earlier than expected (he has until May 27 to withdraw).
