‘I think we’ll probably hear something this week’ – Insider thinks Wake Forest transfer guard Juke Harris is trending to Tennessee
The Tennessee Vols’ top remaining portal target is Wake Forest Demon Deacons transfer guard Juke Harris, who could be making a decision on his future this week. Harris is considering Tennessee, Michigan, UNC, and the NBA Draft.

The Michigan Wolverines and North Carolina Tar Heels are also in the mix for Harris.
Harris is also considering the 2026 NBA Draft.
Late last week, Vols freshman forward Nate Ament declared for the 2026 NBA Draft, and it’s considered very unlikely that he’ll withdraw his name and return to Tennessee, which makes landing Harris even more important for the Volunteers.
Harris, 6-foot-7/200 pounds from Salisbury, NC, averaged 21.4 points per game as a sophomore for Wake Forest this past season.
Insider says fans could hear something this week on Juke Harris
On3’s Chris Low, a longtime reporter/insider, said this week on The RTI Low-Down that fans could hear something this week on Harris.
And it sounds like the Volunteers are the team trending to land the coveted Wake Forest transfer.
“You never say never, but all my intel says that this week that Juke Harris will pull the trigger and come to Tennessee,” said Low. “I know his mom is a big fan of the program, and a big fan of Rick Barnes. Tennessee was right there in it when he went out of high school.
“In this era, you never say something’s a lock, because someone can always [say], ‘What about if we pay you $5 or 6 million?’ I think Michigan has probably been in Juke Harris’ ear telling him, “Hey, Ament is coming back, so you might want to rethink that decision.’ Well, we know that (Ament returning to UT) is not happening now. So I do think, unless there’s a big snag or a curveball at the end, I think Juke Harris will be a Tennessee Vol. I think we’ll probably hear something this week.”
As Low said, you never say anything is a done deal in this era because things can (and often do) change quickly once big numbers start getting thrown around.
But unless something changes, it sounds like Tennessee fans should expect some good news regarding Harris in the not-too-distant future.
