Report details how much NIL money Tennessee Vols transfer target Juke Harris is expected to receive
The Tennessee Vols are one of several programs in the mix for Wake Forest Demon Deacons transfer guard Juke Harris. The North Carolina native is one of the most coveted players in the transfer portal.
One of the Tennessee Vols’ top remaining portal targets is Wake Forest Demon Deacons transfer guard Juke Harris.
Harris, 6-foot-7/200 pounds from Salisbury, NC, averaged 21.4 points per game as a sophomore for Wake Forest this past season.
The Michigan Wolverines and North Carolina Tar Heels are also pursuing Harris.
Tennessee has an existing relationship with Harris after recruiting the North Carolina native out of high school.
Report details how much NIL money Juke Harris is expected to earn after transferring
There’s a good chance that the battle for Harris could turn into a bidding war.
Michigan, North Carolina, and Tennessee are all big-time programs that are more than willing to spend.
Harris is also reportedly still considering declaring for the 2026 NBA Draft.
It’s easy to see how the final price for Harris could be very expensive.
But just how expensive could it get?
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Harris could end up commanding around $3 million. And the number could easily go higher if a bidding war erupts.
“Sources expect the Wake Forest transfer to land a deal upwards of $3 million,” wrote Nakos. “That number could balloon if a bidding war breaks out between the schools.”
It’s already been reported that new Tar Heels head coach Michael Malone made Harris an NIL offer that “dwarfs” other offers.
“Word is that Mike Malone made him a huge NIL offer that dwarfs anyone else to date,” said 247Sports’ David Sisk this week. “The actual number is up for debate. As of right now, those leaning toward Michigan are sticking with the pick, but they don’t seem quite as optimistic as before. Coach Malone had a puncher’s chance, and evidently he came out throwing haymakers. He has made this a competitive battle.”
Which team is willing to spend the most? And will the final decision come down to just money?
Those are questions we can’t answer just yet, but we should know the answers soon enough.
