Former Tennessee Vols guard Bishop Boswell reportedly has a new home in college basketball.

According to a report from On3’s Joe Tipton, Boswell has committed to the Maryland Terrapins.

Boswell entered the NCAA transfer portal earlier this month.

Boswell, 6-foot-4/204 pounds from Charlotte, NC, spent the first two seasons of his college career at Tennessee.

The former Vol averaged 6.2 points per game as a sophomore this past season while making 33 starts. Boswell also averaged 1.2 steals per game.

Tennessee probably would’ve welcomed Boswell back next season, but he almost certainly would’ve had a diminished role. The Vols are looking to upgrade their scoring production, and Boswell simply didn’t fit into those plans at a price that made sense.

Boswell has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
