Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is starting to show why the New York Giants traded up to land him in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Hyatt has really been coming on over the last few days during Giants training camp.

The former Vols standout appears to be growing comfortable in New York's offensive scheme during the early portion of training camp.

Hyatt showed off his elite skills on Sunday during training camp, reeling in a 65-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Tyrod Taylor.

Hyatt also caught a touchdown pass from starting quarterback Daniel Jones on a short out route, showing that he's not just a vertical deep threat.

Hyatt still has a lot to prove as a rookie, but his NFL career is off to a nice start. And he's quickly destroying the narrative that his success in college was a product of playing in Tennessee's up-tempo spread offense. Hyatt was successful in college because he's an elite player and a hard worker. The scheme at Tennessee helped utilize Hyatt's skills, but his success was ultimately because of the hard work he put in last offseason and during the season.
