Kendric Pryor Player Profile

Age: 28
Year: 2nd
Position: Wide receiver
College: Wisconsin
Jersey Number: 19

Kendric Pryor was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Bengals following the 2022 NFL Draft. Prior to the NFL, he spent six years at Wisconsin and started 37 of 53 games for the Badgers. He hauled in 99 receptions for 1,265 yards and seven touchdowns for the Badgers.

Pryor was a preseason star as a rookie in 2022, catching 13 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown in his first three appearances. Cincinnati waived him hoping to sign him back to the practice squad, but the Jacksonville Jaguars claimed him and held onto him through the beginning of the 2023 season. The Bengals signed him to the practice squad in Week 4 of that year, and have kept him ever since. He played in two games during the 2024 season, and was on the practice squad for all of 2025.

Contract details

Pryor signed a futures deal with Cincy at the start of the offseason. His contract is for one-year, $1,075,000. His base salary, cash figure, and salary cap hit for 2026 is the same $1,005,000 amount.

Roster outlook

The Bengals absolutely love Pryor. . .on the practice squad. They cherish the ability to call him up when needed, always keeping him in their back pocket. That will probably be the case again this year barring others becoming better options for the role.

Pryor has fended off undrafted rookies and practice squad carryovers before. Ke’Shawn Williams, Jordan Moore, Xavier Johnson, Dohnte Myers, and Noah Thomas are his competition to either sneak onto the 53-man roster, or hold a practice squad locker once again for the fourth year in a row.
