The Cleveland Browns filled their biggest needs in the 2026 NFL Draft while finding strong value throughout. Coming away from the draft, Browns fans should feel terrific about the 10 players they took.

Cleveland started things out by taking their left tackle of the future with Spencer Fano, then addressed the need for a big-time playmaker by adding wideout KC Concepcion at pick No. 24 in the first round. It’s what the Brown did from there that might just be my favorite picks of the draft for them.

Andrew Berry got exactly what he wanted in the end with pick No. 39

The Browns doubled up at wide receiver with pick No. 39 early in the second round when they took Denzel Boston out of Washington. Boston has a chance to be a big difference maker for the Browns at 6-foot-4, and he’s a player they were targeting as soon as he fell out of the first.

Cleveland had two players in mind at No. 39, and they ended up coming away with both of them.

“It really — I promise I’m telling the truth on this — came down Denzel [Boston] and Emmanuel [McNeil-Warren] as really our top two options,” Berry said of what the Browns were thinking at No. 39.

When Cleveland went with Boston at No. 39, it probably should have knocked them out of the running to add S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren. At the time, the Browns did not pick again until No. 70 in the draft. But once the Browns saw the Toledo product continue to slip down the board, they jumped at the chance to trade up for him.

Cleveland selected Warren at pick No. 58 in the first trade up by the Browns during the draft. Cleveland added a player they were comfortable with taking nearly 20 picks earlier, and still came out of the second round with two starting-level players.

You never know how the draft is going to work out, but the value the Browns found in the second round has a chance to be talked about years from now. Boston and McNeil-Warren were both floated as Round 1 possibilities, and now they’re members of the Browns for the foreseeable future.
