The Cleveland Browns had an interesting offseason, with a lot of change. Todd Monken, the head coach, and the departure of Myles Garrett are the two biggest changes.

Cleveland overhauled its offensive line and is set to have five new starters this fall. The Browns weren’t good enough in run or pass blocking last year, and it’s somewhere that must be improved if the team is going to take a step forward.

A new offensive line for Cleveland could be really good news for RB Quinshon Judkins entering his second season.

Quinshon Judkins is getting some love from an AFC executive

ESPN released its annual list of top running backs in the NFL voted on by anonymous executives, coaches, and scouts. Judkins didn’t make the top-10, expectedly, but he was right on the outside looking in. One AFC executive sees a big second season coming for the former Ohio State star.

“Runs incredibly hard, faster in the open field than you’d think. I think he’s going to have a big year,” the executive said.

Judkins suffered an ankle injury in Week 16 of last season and ended his rookie season with 14 games played. As a newcomer, Judkins ran for 827 yards on the ground and seven rushing touchdowns. Judkins added 171 receiving yards on 26 catches and would have hit 1,000 rushing yards in a full season.

The Browns’ starting running back didn’t have a full offseason and training camp a year ago with a legal situation that was going on at the time. Judkins had had a full offseason for the Browns and was healthy for a while and a participant in offseason OTAs. Cleveland is going to ride Judkins as a major part of its offense this year and big things should be in store.

Judkins has the power, quickness, and cutting ability to be a problem against NFL defenses. If the Browns’ offensive line changes pan out, watch out.
