New Broncos wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is already firing up Broncos Country.
While it’s just the offseason, Waddle already looks ready for the challenge ahead. The Denver Broncos made one of the biggest splashes of the entire offseason by trading for him from the Miami Dolphins.
The move gives quarterback Bo Nix a top option in the offense, and is nightmare fuel for any opposing defensive coordinators.
Waddle wasted no time winning over the hearts of Broncos Country, and he’s done it again with a simple video showing him working out ahead of the regular season. Waddle is wasting no time gearing up for the challenges ahead, and it should fire up the fan base.
Jaylen Waddle fires up Broncos Country with offseason workout video
The video opens on his cleats and a Denver Broncos hat before immediately jumping into Waddle getting in some work. His burst and explosiveness were on full display throughout the brief 17-second video, and it has me fired up for 2026 to begin.
Waddle is coming off a season with the Miami Dolphins in which he played in 16 games and had 64 receptions for 910 yards and six touchdowns. Broncos Country is hoping for more of the same from Waddle when he’s in a Bronco uniform in 2026.
Denver doesn’t hold a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft due to the trade. If you’re feeling sad about that, keep rewatching the video and pretend that Denver picked him with their first overall selection in the Draft because that’s basically what they did. It was a mega-splash in the NFL and for good reason: Waddle is a difference-maker.
And if that 17-second clip is any indication, the Broncos didn’t just make a splash; they may have just changed the ceiling of their entire offense.
