Former Colts TE Eric Ebron retires from the NFL

Ebron started his career in 2014 after the Detroit Lions drafted him in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. After spending the first four years of his career in Detroit, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts ahead of the 2018 season.
His tenure with the Colts would only last two years and ended with both sides seeming to not have a lot of great things to say about the other. Ebron's choice words about the franchise since his departure have led most of the fan base to remember his time in Indy pretty negatively, which is sad considering his 2018 season was flat-out incredible. He set career highs across the board in 2018 with the Colts; he caught 66 passes for 750 yards and a whopping 13 touchdowns with Andrew Luck throwing him the ball. Sadly, Luck's abrupt retirement ahead of 2019 impacted the Colts negatively on the field, but possibly Ebron more than anyone else.
Ebron announced his retirement via a new show being produced by Tidal League called "To The Baha," followed by a personal social media post recapping his career with a collection of photos and videos.
"I just want to officially announce that you can't look for me no more, you can't ask me to work out for some team no more. I'm done with the National Football League, I'm officially retiring. I can't wait to step into this new world and let people understand how big and how smart my brain actually is in this game of football or in life in general."
