The Indianapolis Colts are desperate for a win this week. Their Week 2 loss against the Green Bay Packers dropped them to 0-2.

So, to avoid a dreaded 0-3 start, they must take down the visiting Chicago Bears.

We know they will be without star defensive tackle DeForest Buckner after placing him on injured reserve. Thankfully, their Week 3 inactive list gave fans some good news on the status of multiple key players.

Colts Week 3 inactives

The Colts didn't give Josh Downs any designation for this game today, so the second-year wide receiver is set to make his 2024 season debut. Two players who they gave a questionable label were WR Michael Pittman Jr. and rookie edge rusher Laiatu Latu. We found out overnight that Pittman Jr. would play today, and now the inactive list confirms that Latu is also a go for Week 3. So, outside of their three starters currently on the IR (DeForest Buckner, Samson Ebukam, and Juju Brents), the team will have all their starters against the Bears today.

Bears Week 3 inactives

The Bears ruled star WR Keenan Allen out Friday after he missed all three practices ahead of the matchup. The big news for the Bears is that their starting guard, Nate Davis, who was listed as questionable for this game, is officially active. There was some dialog throughout the week that the Colts could see their former starting LT Matt Pryor fill in for Davis on the Bears offensive line. But now it appears he will start the day on the bench.
