Kansas City Chiefs backup kicker Matthew Wright isn't done being celebrated after his incredible Week 14 performance, which ended with the kick now dubbed the "Doink for the Division."

In the win over the Los Angeles Chargers on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 14, Wright made all four of his field goal attempts, including the game-winning 31-yard field goal as time expired. It helped the Chiefs become the first team in NFL history to have three different kickers make a game-winning field goal in a single season.

Wright was also perfect on extra points during the game, but he didn't handle kickoff duties. That job was ceded to S Justin Reid, who has a stronger leg to boot the ball out of the end zone. There's a bit of irony to that fact, given that in 2022, Wright held the Chiefs' franchise record for the longest field goal made (59 yards) for about 10 days.

This was Wright's second career Special Teams Player of the Week award. He last won the award with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6 of the 2021 NFL season.

Wright is the first Chiefs kicker to win a Special Teams Player of the Week award this season, but the second special teamer, joining Leo Chenal in Week 10. Wright is the first Chiefs kicker to win the award since Butker earned it in Week 17 of the 2023 NFL season. Butker has won five Special Teams Player of the Week awards during his NFL career.

On top of the NFL-related parts of this accolade, Wright is only the second-ever kicker from the University of Central Florida to win multiple NFL Special Teams Player of the Week honors. He joins former Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions K Matt Prater (15-time winner).
