Las Vegas Raiders inadvertently continue a scheduling streak that they likely have never asked for

The Las Vegas Raiders know who they won’t play in Week 1, as the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos play one another. They do know they don’t play any international games.

The Las Vegas Raiders are now the only team not scheduled for an international game this decade. That’s not a streak that they likely want to be involved with. Or, maybe they dio. However, I’m willing to bet that playing international games helps your brand grow.

Their last appearance outside the U.S. was in London back in 2019. The Raiders go 7th season without an international game. The Raiders are one of the more recognizable brands in all of sports, in any country. So, going and playing overseas would only make more sense. However, that could come soon. With AFC teams hosting international games in 2027, it is likely that Las Vegas will play one.

This season, though, the Raiders technically get another home game, which somewhat balances this all out. The Raiders will play their first regular-season game in the Bay Area against the San Francisco 49ers since leaving Oakland. How is that a home game? I’d say more of the current fan base is in the Bay Area than in Nevada. You better believe there will be at least half Raiders fans in attendance.

Raiders’ total mileage on their 2026 schedule

ESPN released the official mileage each team will travel this season. Seeing numbers like this really puts into perspective just how much travel can affect a team. The teams that travel the most are usually the ones that are most tired near the end of the season. Those miles add up, believe it or not.

Luckily, the Raiders are right in the middle of the pack when it comes to total miles traveled this season. They come in with just over 21,000 miles to be traveled this year between games. That’s 12th in the league, which is more than the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the Los Angeles Chargers have about three thousand more.
