The Miami Dolphins are facing a bit of a wait for their third pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. But not too long of a wait. We can project out a reasonable list of the best available players for Miami with their first Day 2 selection; scheduled for 43rd overall. Miami has OT Kadyn Proctor and CB Chris Johnson in the boat already — it will soon be time to head back into the draft room and do it over again.

Who are some of the best available names awaiting them? Here is our best-available list for the Miami Dolphins entering Friday night.

So here’s where we stand. Miami’s current pick at No. 43 overall sits 11th overall in the order for Friday night. Mathematically speaking, several of these players (plus potential other good prospects) are guaranteed to be on the board. After the pick at No. 43, Miami will begin their longest wait yes before coming back on the clock at No. 75 overall. It will be a busy night.

But there’s talent to be had. And the Miami Dolphins obviously have the picks to make it happen.
