The New Orleans Saints have a chance to be a dark horse in 2026. Playing in arguably the most wide-open division in football, and with year two of Tyler Shough at quarterback and Kellen Moore at head coach, the arrow is certainly pointing up in New Orleans.

No one knows that better than Cam Jordan, who just decided that he’s not done.

Cam Jordan 2025 stats

  • 10.5 sacks.
  • 47 tackles.
  • 2 forced fumbles.

Cam Jordan re-signs with the Saints on a one-year contract

Jordan’s list of accolades and accomplishments speaks for itself, but the most notable contributions during his time in New Orleans might be loyalty. Through his 15-year career in New Orleans, Jordan has amassed 132 sacks and 763 tackles, played 16 or more games in every season, and he continues to play at a starter level after a 10.5 sack season in 2025.

Jordan has seen the good and the bad in New Orleans. He’s played with Hall of Famers like Drew Brees, and he’s played with stars like Tyrann Mathieu. He’s seen seasons that resulted in double-digit wins, and seasons where the Saints are unsure of who their starting quarterback will be next week, in the middle of a game.

So with some semblance of stability for the first time this decade, and with a sneaky team behind him, it’s only right that he goes out on a high note.
