Eagles' Nick Sirianni did something after the win that he almost never does

The Philadelphia Eagles absolutely destroyed the New York Giants in their first divisional matchup of the season. There are a ton of people that thought the game would be somewhat close, but Philadelphia put that to bed.
The Eagles were able to win by way of a balanced attack. The offense and defense did it all. The defense got to the quarterback when it needed to, and stopped the run.
The offense was able to play through the air and on the ground. But the game on the ground is what caught the coach's attention the most. Miles Sanders, the starting running back, absolutely went off.
Head coach Nick Sirianni was proud of Sanders and the way he played. So much so, he did something he rarely does.
"There are only a couple of times I’ve given game balls after a game," Sirianni said when asked if Sanders got a game ball.
"What’d he have? 144? Yeah, he’ll get a game ball. Miles, you’ll get a game ball," Sirianni joked.
And even though Jalen Hurts had a terrific game and only elevated himself in the MVP conversation, Sanders was well deserving of the game ball.
The former Penn State running back not only outplayed his former college running mate Saquon Barkley, but he also had a career day. Sanders had his season-high run of 40 yards and two touchdowns.
Not to mention on Sunday he surpassed 1,000 rushing yards on the season, becoming the first Eagles' running back to do so since LeSean McCoy in 2014.
"He knows he’ll already get one of those," Sirianni continued. "So, he’ll get one for that and it’s good. First time he’s went over 1,000 (yards), he’s been great all year. He’s ran the ball hard, he’s protected his butt off, he’s protected the football and he’s just playing really good football right now."
From 2019-2021 Miles Sanders totaled nine rushing touchdowns. In 13 games in 2022, he already has 10.
This guy has been one of the more underrated running backs in the league this year and is going to get paid in the offseason. We have seen guys on expiring contracts, in particular Josh Jacobs, ball out this season. Both of those guys will get paid.
Sanders got a game ball from Sirianni, and he never does that. I'm only joking when I say this, but if you get a game ball from coach, you played well.
