Eagles: A.J. Brown is doing his best Terrell Owens impression

If A.J. Brown plays in Philadelphia long enough there won't be a record that he can’t break.
Brown continued his splendid start with the Eagles in Week 3, racking up 85 receiving yards and one touchdown on five receptions. This performance puts Brown at 20 catches, 309 yards, and one score on the season.
The last time an Eagles player recorded 20-plus receptions and 300-plus yards through his first three games of a season came in 2005 when Hall of Fame WR Terrell Owens tallied 335 yards on 21 catches.
There are plenty of parallels to draw between Brown and Owens. Both used their strength to haul in deep passes and their athleticism to make plays after the catch.
Though Owens lasted just two seasons in Philadelphia, he managed to score 20 touchdowns in 21 games with the Birds. He changed the way Eagles fans viewed the receiver position.
Brown has all of the makings to be a generational talent out wide. He ranks fourth in the NFL in receiving yards and is tied for 12th in receptions.
If Brown’s trajectory continues to rise he won’t just be setting franchise records. Instead, he will have some of the most respected NFL records in his crosshairs.
