Philadelphia is getting a new WNBA team, and Kylie Kelce is very excited about it.

On her July 3 episode of her podcast, ”Not Gonna Lie,” Kylie even showed some interest in possibly getting involved in this exciting addition to the city she calls home.

“I think that there’s a little bit of controversy about the who’s going to own the team” she explained. “I’m just saying it would be really cool if it was female-owned. But if you need additional female investors, maybe call me.”

And as a mom of four girls, she can't wait to bring them to games.

“Philadelphia is a passionate fan base. I’m so excited for a WNBA team to be able to experience that level of passion,” she said. “I am very excited to have the opportunity to not only go and watch WNBA games right here in Philadelphia, but also to bring my girlies because they are due to be giants. And I say that being a giant myself — maybe at least one of them will be into basketball.”

The WNBA recently announced that they are expanding to 18 teams, adding ones in Cleveland (2028), Detroit (2029), and Philadelphia (2030).

“The demand for women’s basketball has never been higher, and we are thrilled to welcome Cleveland, Detroit, and Philadelphia to the WNBA family,” WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said in a statement on June 30. “This historic expansion is a powerful reflection of our league’s extraordinary momentum, the depth of talent across the game, and the surging demand for investment in women’s professional basketball. I am deeply grateful for our new owners and ownership groups – Dan Gilbert in Cleveland, Tom Gores in Detroit, and Josh Harris, David Blitzer, David Adelman, and Brian Roberts in Philadelphia – for their belief in the WNBA’s future and their commitment to building thriving teams that will energize and inspire their communities. We are excited for what these cities will bring to the league – and are confident that these new teams will reshape the landscape of women’s basketball.”

Get ready Philly! The WNBA is coming and Kylie is ready to get involved!
