Fox Sports is making some major changes.
The Athletic's Andrew Marchand reported on Monday that Joy Taylor has been fired and her show “Speak," which she hosts alongside Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce, has been canceled too. "Breakfast Ball" and "The Facility," which is hosted by Emmanuel Acho, Chase Daniel, James Jones and LeSean McCoy have also been axed.
"The three shows struggled to find a huge audience, prompting the cancellations, according to sources briefed on the decision," Marchand wrote.
This news comes after Taylor was named in a lawsuit filed by an ex-employee where she allegedly told make-up artist Noushin Faraji to 'get over it' after being told about sexual assault allegations by programming executive Charlie Dixon, Front Office Sports reported in January. Skip Bayless was also named in the lawsuit, alleging that he gave Faraji, "lingering hugs and kisses on the cheek while putting his body against hers and pressing against her breasts.”
"The single mother alleges she repeatedly told Bayless she was not interested in him and did not 'date at work,'" Front Office Sports wrote. "She also claims she told Bayless she was suffering from ovarian cancer, after developing issues with her left ovary, in an effort to halt his advances.
The Athletic further adds that Colin Cowherd’s “The Herd,” and “First Things First” with Nick Wright, Chris Broussard and Kevin Wildes will remain in their currently time slots, while they will "likely produce new shows in place of the cancellations."
