The Philadelphia Eagles have a handful of needs heading into the 2025 NFL Draft, and while there is no telling what they will do exactly, we at least know some positions they could target first.
Philly's top-priority position needs include edge, safety, cornerback, tight end, defensive tackle, and offensive line.
In this four-round 2025 NFL mock draft, the Eagles nail their first four picks, hitting back-to-back needs.
Round 1, Pick 32: EDGE Nic Scourton, Texas A&M
Per their draft history, general manager Howie Roseman and the Eagles love turning to the trenches when it comes to the first round , which is exactly what they do hear.
Nic Scourton, a 6-foot-4, 285-pound Aggie product, has been recognized for his versatility and athleticism on the defensive line and is a top prospect in this year's draft class.
Scourton initially kicked off his college career at Purdue before transferring to Texas A&M. He started all 12 season games in 2024, leading the team with 14 tackles for loss and five sacks in 2024. His efforts earned him First Team All-SEC honors.
Round 2, Pick 64: TE Elijah Arroyo, Miami
Elijah Arroyo brings plenty of versatility to the table in the passing game as a catcher and as a blocker in the run game, which is what the Eagles will be looking for in Dallas Goedert's future replacement.
Arroyo enters the draft following a 2024 breakout year where he hauled in 35 of 47 targets for 590 yards for an impressive 16.9 yards per catch with seven touchdowns.
Round 3, Pick 96: T Charles Grant, William & Mary
A six-foot-five, 311-pound offensive tackle, Charles Grant, allowed just two sacks over the course of three seasons at William and Mary.
He tasks the jump to the next level after logging 767 total snaps, including 372 of them in pass protection, where he allowed nine pressures and one sack in 12 starts at left tackle in 2024.
An interesting tidbit about Williams is that he wrestled for several years and did not play football until his junior year of high school.
Grant is a great fit for the Birds as they look to stack their offensive line depth.
Round 4, Pick No. 134: S Jaylen Reed, Penn State
Jaylen Reed makes the jump to the NFL following a strong senior season with the Nittany Lions after he led the defense with 98 total tackles, including 51 solo, while racking up 2.5 sacks, three interceptions, including one for a touchdown, a forced fumble, and three passes defended.
The Eagles lost C.J. Gardner-Johnson to free agency last month, and they know yet if Sydney Brown will be able to replace his production.
Reed, who has what it takes to be NFL-ready as a rookie, would be perfect competition for Brown this offseason.
