2026 Tennessee Vols offensive line commit Gabriel Osenda made a big jump in recruiting rankings last week as he was elevated to five-star status by 247Sports.
Osenda, 6-foot-7/330 lbs, was a three-star recruit when he committed to Tennessee earlier this year, but he's now rated among the top recruits in the nation. 247Sports rates Osenda as the No. 4 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 19 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class. He's also rated as the No. 2 player in the state of Tennessee.
The native Canadian proved that he deserves to be a five-star recruit via his performance at the Rivals Camp Series stop in Atlanta this past weekend.
Rivals.com national recruiting analyst Samp Spiegelman named Osenda as the offensive line MVP of the camp series stop thanks to his "statement performance against a strong field of defensive linemen".
From Rivals.com: Osenda saw reps on both the left and right tackle spots and was equally as dynamic in both spots. At 330 pounds, the Tennessee verbal played with excellent bend and feet, used leverage and finished at the end of reps. Osenda has made drastic leaps and bounds with his technique, and it showed with a statement performance against a strong field of defensive linemen on Sunday. He's a stock-up prospect as a premium position.
Osenda has the potential to be an All-SEC type talent for the Vols. He's an athletic multi-sport athlete (he also has a background in basketball and hockey) with elite size.
Other programs will continue to recruit Osenda in an effort to flip him from Tennessee, but the newly minted five-star recruit told Rivals.com that he's not planning to take visits to other schools.
Tennessee currently has seven players committed to its 2026 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 30 in the nation.
