Josh Allen has a very busy summer.
During a March appearance on NFL Network's Good Morning Football, left tackle Dion Dawkins might have let it slip when the Buffalo Bills quarterback was set to marry actress Hailee Steinfeld.
"Soon to come… May 31st," Dawkins said.
That's just a few days away.
And it makes Allen's latest move even more impressive.
Head coach Sean McDermott confirmed that Allen is at OTAs on Tuesday, praising him for his attendance because "he is the face of our organization. He is the leader of our team."
If he really is getting married on the 31st, he has a valid excuse to miss the practice. But instead, he showed up.
Allen proposed to Steinfeld on November 22, 2024, posting a sweet photo on Instagram to confirm the news.
However, Steinfeld almost ruined the big surprise.
"The funniest thing was that we woke up and were getting ready for brunch, and you jumped on the bed and said, 'Can we get married already?!? What are you waiting for??!,' Allen said during a Q&A with Steinfeld in her Beau Society newsletter after getting engaged.
"I replied, 'Just give me a little more time.' Little did you know I was about to propose to you."
And now, Allen is set to be a married man before the 2025 season begins.
Hailee Steinfeld hilariously roasted the rest of the AFC East
Steinfeld proved that she is the perfect addition to Bills Mafia back in February by roasting the rest of the AFC East in a short video.
Specifically, she was asked how many teams are in the AFC East and she responded with "The Buffalo Bills, and the Bills' three sons."
It was so iconic, and she's not wrong. The Bills have completely dominated the division, winning five consecutive AFC East division titles. And with Josh Allen leading the way, that is expected to continue.
