Former LSU All-American Will Campbell is being projected to go within the top 15 selections of the 2025 NFL Draft when April comes around. The talented offensive tackle was a three-year starter for the Tigers, and was arguably the nation’s top left tackle the last two seasons. It isn’t overly surprising that he is well-liked in NFL circles.

With so many teams needing improved offensive line play across the league, there promises to be heavy demand for Campbell. At the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine last week, Campbell was asked about some teams that were demonstrating interest. The Jacksonville Jaguars were an interesting conversation, and would create a bit of an LSU reunion.

“I’m just excited for every opportunity I can get but to be able to link up with some of my old teammates like Brian Thomas, Maason Smith, and Jordan Jefferson, it would be pretty cool,” Campbell told the media.

Thomas became one of the breakout stars in the NFL last season, hauling in 87 receptions for 1,282 yards and 10 touchdowns. The talented wide receiver is also teammates with Smith and Jefferson, two depth players in the defensive tackle room.

The offensive line has been a massive conversation around the Jaguars, and the need to protect quarterback Trevor Lawrence. If Campbell was reunited with his former LSU teammates, he would be most likely to play left tackle. Right now the team is projected to start Walker Little, who has some talent but can definitely be upgraded.

There are a lot of teams around the NFL that project Campbell more inside to guard. While he would be a tremendous player on the interior, you aren’t going to draft a guard at No. 5 overall. If the Jaguars are serious in their interest, we will no longer have to guess what position he ends up playing.
