Former LSU star player had an incredible two word response when asked about the win over Clemson
The LSU Tigers opened the 2026 college football season with a dominant win over Clemson.
Former LSU offensive lineman Will Campbell had a perfect two word response this week when asked about the blowout win over Clemson in Week 1.
Campbell, who is entering his second season in the NFL, still has former teammates in Baton Rouge, so he was extra locked into the matchup against Clemson.
And he loved what he saw.
“Ass whoopin,” said Campbell when asked what he thought of the win. “I was more than excited to see what they did. It’s very cool to watch the guys that I played with — some of my very close friends that are still playing there — go out there and have a bunch of success, and beat a good football team the way they did. It’s awesome to see.”
There’s really no other way to describe what we saw on Saturday night. It was a total “ass whoopin.”
Campbell, the No. 4 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, played at LSU from 2022 to 2024.
