Having someone that can blow the roof off opposing defenses would be a welcome sight in Buffalo, and it sounds like they're doing plenty of work on one of the fastest wide receivers in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond, who had a bit of a disappointing NFL Scouting Combine by only running a 4.39 40-yard dash, reportedly improved his time to 4.35 at his Pro Day, and according to KRPC 2's Aaron Wilson, Bond is preparing for a dinner with the Buffalo Bills on Thursday, followed by a private workout on Friday. All of this after the Bills had a formal meeting with the pass catcher at the Combine.
Bond looks like he's currently slated to be a Day 2 selection, which works out well for Buffalo. The Bills currently have two picks in the second round, and two in the fourth. With 10 picks total, they have plenty of flexibility to try to work deals around the board.
A year after making a deal with the devil (also known as the Kansas City Chiefs) that allowed them to draft Texas speedster wide receiver Xavier Worthy, the Bills could potentially find themselves in the position to essentially get a do-over.
The Bills need speed at the wide receiver position that can both threaten secondaries deep and can also take any pass for a massive chunk play. It's exactly what the Bills are looking for, and they seem to have their eyes on Bond as a potential target.
