The Alabama Crimson Tide are a team to watch for one of the best 2026 wide receiver recruits in the nation.
2026 five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys, 6-foot-2/180 lbs from Hattiesburg, MS, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 4 overall player in the nation.
For now, the Tennessee Vols are viewed as the favorites for Keys, but 247Sports national recruiting analyst Tom Loy says to keep an Alabama.
"Tennessee is a school with a ton of optimism," wrote Loy. "He's high on the Volunteers, named them his leader at one time and continues to speak highly about a potential future in Knoxville.
"Another school that made a huge move recently was Alabama. His junior day visit to Tuscaloosa was an eye-opener. He connected well with multiple players on campus, including freshman quarterback and former five-star recruit Keelon Russell. Keep an eye on the Crimson Tide. Coach Kalen DeBoer and company are surging."
Keys told 247Sports earlier this month that he plans to commit sometime before August.
Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M are also in the mix for Keys.
This battle, however, feels like it's going to come down to Alabama, Tennessee, and Ole Miss. Keys' official visits will go a long way in determining how this recruiting battle plays out.
The biggest reason why Arch Manning didn’t sign with Alabama could be the reason the Crimson Tide won’t land elite QBs in the future
And there’s not much that Alabama can do about it
