Legendary professional wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has weighed in on the Super Bowl LIX matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

Flair took to X to express that he "can't wait to watch the Kansas City Chiefs crush it," while sharing a clip from his "To Be The Man" podcast of him saying that quarterback Patrick Mahomes is "unreal."

Flair also shared an old clip of tight end Travis Kelce mimicking his famous strut celebration after scoring a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers back in 2014.

Flair's in-ring career has spanned over six decades, with his last match being in 2022 remarkably at the age of 72. Flair knows a thing or two about being a champion. He still owns the long-standing record of 16 World Championships throughout numerous pro wrestling companies, such as WWE, WCW, and NWA.

However, that record could be in jeopardy as WWE superstar John Cena tied it back in 2017. Cena is currently doing one last tour with WWE in 2025 and could break Flair's record at some point during the year. Coming in behind Flair and Cena with the most World Championship reigns are Randy Orton (14), Triple H (14), and Hulk Hogan (12).

As for the Chiefs, they are aiming to become the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowls with a win over the Eagles on Sunday. It would be their fifth championship in franchise history, which would tie them with the 49ers and Dallas Cowboys for second most all-time.

Flair's (seemingly) favorite two Chiefs player – Mahomes and Kelce – can also make some history on Sunday. If Mahomes wins his fourth Super Bowl MVP, he will take sole possession of having the second most all-time behind legendary QB Tom Brady's five. If Kelce catches at least three passes in the game, he will pass Hall of Fame wide receiver Jerry Rice for the most receptions in Super Bowl history.
