The Indianapolis Colts season has been over for a while now, but their mascot, Blue, is staying busy.
He made his presence known at the 2025 NFL Pro Bowl, and now he's made an appearance at a major event that no one imagined him to show up at: The Daytona 500.
Colts mascot Blue is down in Florida for the Daytona 500 race
The Daytona 500 is considered one of the biggest NASCAR races each year. It began Sunday, February 16, at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Of all the people to take in the event, Colts mascot Blue was in attendance and helped advertise the event in the video posted by NBC Sports.
Blue is one of if not the most famous NFL mascots. We often see him throwing a pie in the face of opposing fans and making guest appearances at all kinds of events over the years. So you would think we would stop being surprised when he shows up at random non-football events at this point. But yet, I can honestly say I didn't have Blue being in Daytona Beach for the Daytona 500 on my bingo card. Now all I can think about is where in the world will Blue show up next. The options seem endless; maybe we will see him at the NBA All-Star Game or a big movie premiere. I wouldn't even rule him being the first mascot to host Saturday Night Live at this point.
