Financial guru and University of Tennessee graduate Dave Ramsey is going viral for recently taking a shot at Vanderbilt.

Ramsey, who lives in the Nashville area, explained why it's a better financial decision for students from the Volunteer state to attend Tennessee instead of Vanderbilt.

"The University of Tennessee at Knoxville, an in-state school for a Tennessee resident, is right now $14,000," explained Ramsey. "Vanderbilt, here in Nashville, is $75,000. If you have extra money and you want your child to go to Vanderbilt, that's fine. But you do not go in student loan debt to go to Vanderbilt versus going to the University of Tennessee. And you can't convince me it's better because I went to the University of Tennessee and people that went to Vanderbilt work for me. So, there's that."

There's talking trash and then there's talking trash and backing it up. And that's exactly what Ramsey did in that clip.

The Vols continue to dominate Vanderbilt.
