The Bills are on to the Divisional Round, and they look the part of a championship contender. Coming off a dominant win against the Denver Broncos, Josh Allen and the offense flexed their muscle, putting up 31 points and 471 total yards against a team that allowed the second-fewest points and second-fewest yards per play across the NFL this season.

Buffalo looks fired up and crisp, and they'll pose a challenge to any opponent the rest of the way.

The offense looked electric. Something that Buffalo has this year that they haven't in the past is a complementary offense with a running back that can tote the rock and rip off explosive plays. They're a dominant unit right now, with James Cook once again showing that he's one of the league's best running backs.

The Bills ran for 210 rushing yards on a Denver defense that was holding opposing teams to 96.4 yards per game this season, third-best in the NFL. Cook led the way, taking 23 carries for 120 yards and a score.

This is why it matters — a well-rounded offense that can lean on their running back, their superhero quarterback, and a variety of pass catchers makes them one of the best offenses in the NFL. Opposing defenses can't just clue in one element to slow down the Buffalo offense.

Probably most importantly, the Bills dominated the line of scrimmage against the best defensive front in the league. It was said all season — the Denver defense led the league in sacks and was constantly shutting down opposing ground games. The Buffalo offensive line has continued to develop as the season has gone on, and controlled things from start to finish. Being able to do that and control the time of possession — which Buffalo ran away with, controlling 41:43 compared to 18:17 for Denver — has Buffalo primed for a deep playoff run.
