The Philadephia Eagles held a walkthrough on Wednesday as they get ready to take on the New York Giants at home for their regular-season finale.

Several key players did not participate due to rest and/or injuries, including starting quarterback Jalen Hurts (concussion) and backup Kenny Pickett (ribs), running back Saquon Barkley (rest), and wide receivers A.J. Brown (knee/rest) and DeVonta Smith (wrist/rest).

Head coach Nick Sirianni confirmed Hurts was still in concussion protocol but did not provide an update on Pickett.

Several other Eagles starters were limited for the walkthrough.

The Eagles released an estimated injury report on Wednesday, so Thursday will be more telling.

Eagles Week 18 Injury Report Observations

  • Nick Sirianni has discussed resting his key players when they need it in order to keep them ready to go for their playoff run, which is why several starters were sidelined to start the week.
  • Quarterback Jalen Hurts's concussion came in Week 16's loss to the Washington Commanders. He will need to pass through concussion protocol in order to return to practice.
  • Kenny Pickett was injured in Week 16 and then again in Week 17.
  • The Eagles will rest their starters in Week 18, so it looks like third-string Tanner McKee will get the start.
  • The Eagles signed quarterback Ian Book to the practice squad last week for emergency depth.
  • Wide receiver Britain Covey has finally been taken off the injury report.
  • Wide receiver A.J. Brown injured his knee ahead of Week 16's matchup but has played through the injury. He's expected to sit out Sunday with other starters.
  • The Eagles opened tight Dallas Goedert's (knee) 21-day practice window and placed tight end C.J. Uzomah (abdomen) on Injured Reserve.
  • Linebacker Nakobe Dean returned to practice after missing Week 17's game with an abdomen injury.
  • The Eagles have one more week to activate Bryce Huff (wrist) off Injured Reserve.
