The Philadelphia Eagles could be stuck looking for a new offensive coordinator this offseason.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Dallas Cowboys put in a request to interview Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore for their vacant head coach job to replace Mike McCarthy.

Rapoport adds that Moore is "one of the top candidates" for Dallas.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints are two other teams who have reached to Moore for an interview.

Moore, 36, was hired by the Eagles last offseason and it's no surprise why other franchises are interested in hiring him to be their next head coach.

After the Eagles dropped their 2023 season, Moore helped turn things around and is one of the main reasons why the Birds finished with a 14-3 record and NFC East champions. In Moore's first season as the Eagles' OC, the offense finished ranked No. 8 in total yards, No. 7 in points scored, and No. 2 in rushing yards.

While losing Moore would be a tough blow for the Birds, Dallas was where he kicked off his coaching career in 2018 as the Cowboys' quarterbacks coach.

He was quickly promoted to offensive coordinator in 2019 where he held the position for four years.

In four seasons under Moore, Dallas ranked second in total offense (391.0 net YPG) and scoring (27.7 PPG). Moore's offense was also the league's fourth-best passing offense (264.4 net YPG) and ranked seventh in rushing offense (126.6 YPG).

Additionally, Moore helped Dallas win two NFC East titles and secure three post-season berths.

After parting ways with the Cowboys, Moore joined the Chargers' coaching staff this past season. With Moore in charge, LA's offensive unit ranked 18th in total offense, 13th in passing, 25th in rushing and 21st in scoring.

Before entering the coaching realm, Moore was a backup quarterback for the Detroit Lions and Cowboys.
